Japanese Ramen Shop - NVIDIA Omniverse

The ramen in the thumbnail is a ref picture I took in Japan to show of the inspiration for this project... Simply our love of Japanese Ramen :)

I'm happy to finally share some of the work I was able to contribute, when I was still at NVIDIA, to the Ramen Shop demo shown during GTC 2022. For a beautiful overview of the project and breakdown of all of the artists involved, please checkout this ArtStation post here from Andrej Štefančík.

I helped during pre-production of the project traveling to Japan and capturing thousands of reference photos for the project. As well as working with the team during the initial stages of determining Texture Texel Density, asset quality bar, and implementing the idea of imperfections into the models. The project was completed by the incredible artists at NVIDIA under the leadership of Andrej Štefančík, who also modeled almost every asset in the scene. Congratulations to everyone involved on this huge accomplishment! The final project turned out beautiful and is another amazing display of the power of NVIDIA Omniverse.
